First steps after registration
- Open a business bank account.
- Decide on VAT. Registration is mandatory once turnover in the previous 12 months exceeds RSD 8,000,000; voluntary registration is possible earlier.
- Register on SEF, the state e-invoicing system — mandatory for VAT payers and anyone invoicing the public sector.
- Check fiscalisation requirements if you sell to consumers.
- Activate eBolovanje (electronic sick-leave certificates) if you employ staff.
- Confirm beneficial-owner data at APR once a year.
Foreign documents usually need an apostille and a certified translation into Serbian; we will send you the exact list for your case.
